Minimal Man - The Shroud Of (1981)

The more I hear from this late 70s San Francisco post-punk/avant-garde/electronic scene, the more I'm convinced it was the most exciting time and place, maybe even more than no wave New York of the same time.

This is the first proper album of Patrick Miller aka Minimal Man, visual and performance artist turned musician. After only two listens I absolutely love it. It's brilliant, haunting, hypnotic, unsettling and...well, minimal as can be perfectly heard in closing track 'She Was a Visitor'.
