Hmmm, bugsy...I don't know. Sufjan Stevens isn't unattractive, certainly. But I feel he has a kind of militaristic look that scares me a bit. I looked at pictures of him online and only *one* of them showed him smiling. In all the rest he is dead serious.

I'm afraid if I cracked a joke he'd just look at me like this:

Also, I remember when I first heard of him, I listened to some of his music...mostly delicate, airy folksy songs about everyday activities with religious overtones, right? I guess the songs didn't appeal to me too much, though they are pretty sounding. I think this affects my appreciation of who he is physically.

But I do like the name Sufjan. Sufjan, Sufjan, Sufjan. Yep, that's a cool name. Sufjan sounds exotic. Meanwhile, his songs sound very unexotic to me. :/ Sort of dreary and drab and serious. Kind of like a small fire that is burning down in a cold forest until you are left in the dark, afraid.

Now let's compare Sufjan Stevens to, oh, I don't know, how about...Marc Bolan . Here's a picture of Mr. Bolan below. Now Marc, here, looks inquisitive, open, and he has all that lovely wild curly hair!!! Soooooooooooo much more appealing than Mr. Stevens. To me, at least!
