Was having a conversation with someone about people who seem unlikely to be into bondage, but who ARE. (this includes a friend of mine)
She replies "Ah, its always the quiet ones"
Now, I dunno about anyone else, but I've only ever heard that phrase used to describe unlikely killers, people who snap, etc.
Me: Haha whats that supposed to mean? You think he's gonna stab me or something?
Her: No no of course not!
Me: Fair enough, its just I've only heard that phrase used to describe serial killers, not fetishists
Her: Well I've only heard it used for fetishists, because I don't think about serial killers.
So now she thinks I'm weird and think about serial killers or something. I didn't push to explain because I'd just dig myself a hole.
