Something like that happened with me actually! I walked into my Woodshop class, and was about to get back to work. I said "yup! I'm back. I wanted to stay longer, but oh well." My teacher said "yeah, I know what you mean. It's hard to come back". Stuff like that. So I go back to grab my project to find that someone had used it almost like a paper towel to wipe the excess urethane off their brush. I told him and he said "oh man. That's probably my fault. I must have put it with the unclaimed projects." I was fine with it, and didn't want him to feel bad. It got pretty awkward so he changed the subject and asked how Florida was. "Yeah it was nice, but my grandma ended up dying. Septic shock. It was really unexpected". That didn't help any.
