Pepper this was when they were obviously "experimenting" and this would be #1 or #2 if they would've just thrown in Strawberry Fields Forever or Penny Lane instead of throwing it onto the mediocore EP Magical Mysyery Tour. My least favorite Beatles song is on Sgt. Pepper Mr. Kite. Reading off of a circus flyer with very lazy melody doesn't do it for me. With all of that being said Revolver is the one album in there catalogue that has replay value for me. Probably one of my favorite albums of all time.
1) Revolver and White Album consistent? Neither are very similar all the way through. Revolver goes from "Yellow Submarine" to "Taxman" to "Tomorrow Never Knows". And White Album goes from "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" to "Revolution 9". Both are very inconsistent all the way through.
2) I kind of agree with the filler on White Album, but it's good filler. I like almost all the songs on there.
3) Magical Mystery Tour mediocre? It has several of the best songs they've ever made! "I am the Walrus", "Strawberry Fields Forever", "All You Need is Love".
4) I can't really say "For the Benefit of Mr. Kite" is a good song. But I really like it, haha.
