If you like this you should check out the singer/guitarist's other band loveliescrushing. It's much more ambient and experimental, but with the same kind of shoegaze approach.

This album is really great. Despite a couple of filler tracks, when these guys hit their stride especially on 'Thinktank' and 'Stay', they really hit their stride. Their sound is just huge and full of texture, and the guitars towards the end of the last song 'The Big Mash-Up' literally sound like a jet-plane taking off. Nice. |
Have you heard their EP collection Winks and Kisses? The Battle of Sealand is great, but that collection is just phenomenal.
