It's not that vegetarians don't eat animals that were slaughtered or treated inhumanely or whatever--they just straight up don't eat meat. By your reasoning, there should be nothing wrong with going out into the woods, killing a deer with a spear, and then cooking it over a campfire and eating it. If somebody told me they don't eat processed foods I have no problem with that, but I often feel vegetarians are vegetarians so that *they* can feel good about themselves and smell their own farts.

And I'm the first to admit that vegetarianism is a very healthy life choice and doing it for the nutritional benefits doesn't bother me at all...
