I've heard Sephardic music (mainly old traditional, like this one) but I'm not acquainted with Klezmer. Klezmer stands out for its instrumentation, whereas Sephardic is primarily vocal. That's why Portuguese and Spanish speakers (like Unchained Ballad and me, for instance) can feel a strong "cultural conexion" just by listening to the voice, regardless of religion. But in Argentina there is an important Ashkenazi Jewish community (notice that there was a strong inmigration from Eastern Europe to Argentina in the 19th and early 20th centuries), so Klezmer music is played there too.
