I'm a novice drummer and I love playing my drums. Drumming feels much more fun and natural than I expected. But I'm not a girl.
I love how playing the drums involves so much of your body and attention, such as when trying to stick to a new beat pattern. I also like drumming because it gives me a mini-workout. Not many instruments can get your heart rate up, but drums can. I only wish I set aside more time to practice.
