Not to knock that album cover, but all that was needed to make it was a series of slightly different photos of the band, a sharp blade and a steady hand. People had already been splicing negatives together to achieve all kinds of effects for many decades before Storm Thorgerson put that together. It's still a good design, I'm just saying it's not notably innovative for the time period or anything.
