I've been wanting to sign up to a general music forum for a long time now.. just had a random impulse so here I am!
about me.. my interests are making the world a better place, computers/math, and most passionately of all - MUSIC!!
I literally listen to every genre I hear of.. (or am planning on checking it out when I get the time). My current favorite artists consist of a wide range of genres, my current top 10 are: The Beatles, M.I.A., T.I., Rush, Yes, Minus the Bear, King Crimson, Busy Signal, The Fall of Troy, and most recently- Igor Stravinsky.
Another example of my musical variety is I just went from listening to Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 14 to Nothin But a G Thang by Dr. Dre to Cross-eyed Mary by Jethro Tull
I guess if I had to choose a favorite genre it would be progressive rock
