1) If you could do one thing to make the world a better place, what would it be?
I would be more compassionate.
2) What is your favorite holiday tradition? Are there any specific to the part of the world you live in?
My mom makes scalloped oysters every year and more than half of my family, including myself, eat them solely out of consideration for her. I don't mind the way they taste, but I can never look down the entire time I'm eating them.
I'm not sure so much about Texas holiday tradition, but I have noticed that green bean casserole seems to be a big deal with everyone this time of year.
3) What do you want to be when you "grow up"?
A great father, more forgiving, more responsible, quite a few things, but I'll start with the basics that desperately need my attention.
4) Would you prefer to live in the city or the countryside?
I tend to prefer the country, but not all cities are created equal. I did love living in Eugene, OR, because the city was a 20 minute walk from where my house was in the country.
5) Why are things easier said than done?
Probably for the same reason that it's easier to give advice than it is to follow it.
6) What's your favorite type of cookie? (I might make you some).
