This sounds absolutely delicious, Tore! In a 3-way competition between egg nog, soy nog, and your Gløgg, I think Gløgg would be best of all!!!! I eat raisins and almonds all the time, and I love spiced cider, so I'd probably like the combination with a bit of alcohol to warm up the tum.

And that name is great. Gløgg!

Say, speaking of Scandinavian holiday traditions, I just went to a St. Lucia fest in Minnesota, which is celebrated there thanks to all those Scandinavians who immigrated. I don't think they brought the Gløgg with them, though. Only lutefisk.
