Somebody tell me what I'm missing with the Who?
--I recognize they have great players: Townsend, Entwhistle, Moon, Daughtry all shine in their respective roles
--I recognize they have great vision: Tommy as the first rock opera and Quad taking the rock opera one step further
-- I recognize that they put on great live shows: Live at Leads being a notable example
-- I recognize their influence, most recently on bands like "Green Day"
But... I find them incredibly boring and lacking musically hooks. I know this sounds harsh, but their sound just doesn't do it for me, and aside from the four points I made above, I hear them as their day's Nickelback.
