What I meant was that I didn't want Quantisisimo (or whatever). I know he's backed some very, very talented MC's. I'll be willing to take an album he produced for another MC (or group of MC's) as long as the MC is real (or sings about what he actually has the right to sing about. You know, like, not rapping about a car he doesn't have? It's fine if he's rapping about a car he DOES have. Material bragging is fine with me, if it's honest material bragging. I can hear the difference from a mile away. I just can. Even if it's about that.)
With that in mind, what's a good place to start with for this insane turntableist/producer?

Lol.
I hear you on the
Quasimoto alter-ego, I didn't dig it too much when I first heard it years ago. After hearing the voice guest on some of his non-Quasi albums, I got a little used to it and can now listen to a full Quasi album (which does have more guests and "regular" vocals than I expected). Anyhow, try the
Lootpack stuff I posted above. He does production and shared vocals. I really like his normal voice rapping - pretty smooth and laid back to me. Of course there's also
Jaylib and
Madvillain, where he shares both production and vocal duties.
If you want instrumental stuff, I've only checked out
Beat Konducta 1 & 2 as well as
Medicine Show #5, all being very good.
