I don't know exactly who PSU was playing while you were in school, but I know they have played some big OOC games over the last ten years. For example, while Ohio State opened against a weak Marshall team this season, they followed it up with Miami (FL). And while the games may not always be as close, there is tension in every game because you know any given week could be the end to your season. That is what makes the upsets so special.

Oh yeah, and college football has a much better overtime system...
