A black 20-something-year-old in a hoodie, complete with fake-gold chains, listening to Slint in a convertible would be mine.

There is no band more white than Slint. Sure, they're a great white band, but they're whiteness shines regardless. To be frank, if somebody even just photoshopped a picture of Spiderland into a black man's hands, I would laugh for hours.

also: I just spit out my drink at the very idea of a stereotypical 'thug' singing "CREEPING UP INTOO THEEEE SKYYYYYYYY!!!" I may need help with this...
