I can't wait until Christmas... I'll be spending it at the beach with family like last year.
But I have another reason to look forward to it. For uni, a couple of people in my class and I wrote a building sketch program where you draw a 2D sketch on the left and it generates a 3D model on the right (as in the attached pic). The lecturer thought our algorithm for model generation was quite novel so he asked us to write up a paper which he submitted to a computer graphics conference in Portugal. If it gets accepted, I doubt we'll get free flights over but it'll be awesome nonetheless. And if it doesn't get accepted... well, at least we tried. We'll be hearing back from them within 5 days
