In most cases, for me, yes. Let's say a band makes a decent song. I end up liking it and listening to it. A week or two later, I hear the song on the radio ALL the time and it gets to the point where I absolutely despise the song. I am not one for mainstream whatsoever largely due to hearing the music everywhere and (sometimes) it not being very good. Of course, there are some good radio stations, but they are more underground or the DJ's play a wide variety of genres. I also like NPR, but for the most part... radio is a murderer.
