There is a part of the brain designated specifically to music. It isn't just chance or a hope that we can pin our love of music on our emotional state.
It's fact that human beings love music and need it in whatever form we personally derive our own enjoyment from it.
Just like other parts of the brain, some areas are more receptive than others I.E some people get off on mathematical equations as their brains are wired that way and so some brains are wired for music more than others.
