I generally agree with what you've written. Their two first albums are very charming, but the best is certainly to come. By the way, whiny falsetto is a good description of Hasting's singing voice. Of course we still love him! There's an Official Caravan Thread, but I see it's in need of a bit of maintenance. I'll brush it up in a bit and add links to your current and upcoming reviews to it.
