Thats terrible. Now those kids will suffer the rest of their lives. Its not that you cant still turn out ok. Some are stronger than others. Pain cant be measured on one scale of the same. Its just sad to see someone get to that point of feeling thats the only answer. We only get one shot at life as far as I know. Not fair to loved ones to take the easy way out. Not to me anyway.
