^ ...is basically what I thought of it. While it had two of the best scenes I've ever seen on film in it (namely the opening and that one in the bar), as a unit the whole film falls short for me.
It's big, it's dumb, it's cheesy as hell, it's awesome. Some really nasty gore in it, and it's cool to finally see Elizabeth Shue in another movie.
