hunter is like nothing else in the indie canon. Cox has one of the weirdest and most wonderful melodic minds. Listening a bit deeper across the records reveals depths of pop-craft talent uncommon to songwriters period.
If you were giving Halcyon Digest a go, you might at least have tried the tracks
Desire Lines and
Basement Scene. The former may just satisfy your thirst for pop. Then, I may be wrong.
