You seem very hung up on the lyrics. To make you happy, I'll stop focusing on the music and rapping for a minute and talk about them: Lyrics which attempt to offend with violent content are hardly a new thing in hip hop. Coming from these two guys it's not gritty, it's just dull and redundant. They don't even do it in an interesting way.
