djchameleon, I agree completely, which is why I want to do an instance properly, rather than have my housemate run me through them. He was really excited when I started playing and he's like "I'll run you through some instances and get you some good stuff" so I just went with it, but like you said I really want to actually play the game myself!
Maybe I'll just take the plunge and find a random group, just say at the beginning, 'look guys, just letting you know I'm a bit of a noob to WoW and to instances, feel free to give me direction or constructive criticism if need be....' Thanks for all the info, tore! You rock |
don't worry, and just try to learn as you go. find which spells are doing the most damage for you(you could also try a resource like:
Hunters - Elitist Jerks), use your cooldowns early and often, and try let the tank pull(unless you want to misdirect to him).
being a girl is probably a help... there's a lot of lonely dudes in wow... just be up front and say you could use some help. it will get you a long way.
