The Village: All right. I'll give you that it's not a great movie at all. I saw it in theatres, and it was the second time in my life I wanted to demand my money back ("Darkness Falls" being the first). With that said, my mother decided to watch it when it came on our movie channels, and I had nothing but bad things to say for the movie. When I watched it the second time, though, I found it to be an almost pleasant, simple movie. I'd already seen it once, and had thus not been expecting the suspense / twist ending which most of Shyamalan's movies are characterized by (with varying levels of success). In all honesty, I thought it was easy to watch, and kind of interesting in its way. Not something I absolutely love now, but it's something I won't turn my nose up at watching again.

Bringing Up Baby: The first time I watched this one, I was six or seven, and hated it because Katharine Hepburn's voice creeped me out. Once I got over that, when I was eleven or so, I really loved the movie. One of my favorite classic comedies, for sure. Cary Grant is wonderful in it.
