Hitler banned the Golem movies, in case you're interested
He also banned most Fritz Lang movies after Lang deserted Germany, except for the Uber Alles "Metropolis" and "Die Nibellungen" (both written by Nazi sympathiser and Lang's ex-wife Thea Harbour)
I have a strong interest in Weimar-era silent German films
