Nels Cline
He's currently the guitarist of Wilco, but I got to know him first through his pairing with Carla Bozulich on Geraldine Fibbers and Scarnella. He has a long background in experimental music, jazz fusion, free improvisation, noise. The list of people he collaborated with is long, among which are Lee Ranaldo, Thurston Moore, Mike Watt, Elliott Sharp etc...
