Yeh I love that doc, so many good little parts on it, I laughed so hard when Graham was going on about PJ Harvey 'all she talks about is how she wants to be a man, her monthly's, and some dress she bought'.
|
^ha yeah i think i actually posted that on some blur-related thread once, it's that cool. describing the stonehenge monoliths: 'it's like going to see morrissey live, not as big as you thought'. i'd sooner watch damon drunkenly falling off a speaker stack performing 'popscene' than get laid anyday. fact.

That looked like it hurt alot but he went on with it, but after the song he was in alot of pain '****ing PA fell on my ****ing foot'. I really like the closing scene were the are walking along the freeway holding hands while some monotone voice goes on about the weather forecast. Lol and that one bit when they are in the bathroom 'cross swords'.

AND the scene where graham goes missing at a festival ('going to watch teenage fanclub'), reappearing hours later dribbling vomit and saying he's homesick. that band were onto something. interesting to note the shot of the Reading fest poster with De La Soul sharing the bill, who albarn would collaborate with 15 odd years later.. :D

I didnt notice that, I didnt even know De La Soul had been around that long.

LOL@PJ_Harvey. All the COOL feminists listen to Bikini Kill.
Hated the album the first time I heard it. Listening to it again and liking it more and more with each listen. |
