Default Pissed Jeans - King of Jeans
it should come as no surprise that this 2009 album is a subpop release... it harkens back to the heyday in the mid-to-late 80s of early grunge/punk. the opening track sounds like bleach-era nirvana covering some pixies b-sides.

soundweave has this as their top release of last year, and while it wouldn't crack my top ten, it certainly is a fine album... if you like aggro-grunge.

suggested listening for fans of the jesus lizard
