Default Firewind - Few Against Many

Firewind has always been one of my favorite Power Metal bands, they are a solid band that has always had very good production going into their music, they are one of the less cheesy Power Metal bands I would say, yet they still hold onto the power metal sound and melodies, Gus G has also recruited an excellent vocalist to the list, Apollo is probably one of the best vocalists in metal and I think we will continue to see this same line-up so long as they continue to thrive..

Few Against Many is surely Firewind's best album to date! Gus G has learned much during his time with the Ozzy Osbourne band! A really chunky, modern sound mixed with the traditional metal of old come together to make an album fans of any generation of metal should be able to enjoy!

Every song was memorable and it bares all the hallmarks of power and traditional heavy metal, this isn't just a power metal cliche.. This is by all means, the Black Sabbath for power metal and I believe this album alone will take the genre far, it is definitely more mainstream and will appeal to a lot more teenagers, I just hope they don't run out of ideas in the future, the album isn't breaking any barriers, but it is their best work to date. Battleborn has become one of my favorite Firewind songs with its heavy, slow and yet dark and uprising sound.

I give this album a 9/10..
