I was pretty keen on the album the first week and a half it was out. Honestly it sort of started sounding a little bland or too much like Linkin Park wanting to sound like Linkin Park. That will most likely confuse some here, that last statement there...

The album has its moments of really great Rock, namely Final Masquerade, All For Nothing. Those two tracks were easily the best moments on the entire album. Everything else was maybe mediocre, to good...just not good enough for me.

Oh ****, I kinda lost touch with Linkin Park after about... grade 6. I still love their music, the older stuff. Hybrid Theory #1 then Meteora. Reanimation was alright.

Didn't care for the other album (minutes to midnight or something), never even knew this came out. I'll give it a listen.

Well, I personally have not been astonished neither fascinated by the new album of Linkin Park. Linkin Park is lack of technique and they're not so professional; when they're creating such music that requires techniques, they are getting in trouble - The Hunting Party. As for the genre they turned into, I like their style, their original and productive style. I don't think they should imitate other bands from their youth.

Anyhow, I hope they will turn back to their previous style.

That's disgustingly dull. No band should ever stick to the sound they had when they first put out an album. I grew out of Metallica for that reason. St. Anger was when they decided to try something somewhat new. And for me. It was a train wreck and painful to listen to.

You have your own individual taste in music or generally what you prefer a band you listen to, to sound like overall. I'm not dogging you for wanting Linkin Park to sound like the pubescent guys they once were. I'm just saying that my opinion is that a band should evolve as the years go by. Not for a lack of a better word, get stuck.

I think it's okay to make something new, but Linkin Park can't handle this genre of music, and it can be noticed by the ratings of the new album The Hunting Party. It's lacking of originality, they just copy other bands and don't bring with them something of their own. I agree that every band should evolve within the years, but in their case, they just dissolve themselves and don't sound any better.

Perhaps, Linkin Park will be better for the upcoming music release.

I liked this album a lot when it first came out, but now, it's just dull.

Welcome to the Linkin Park experience, where their music is good at first, but then you just find yourself being woken up by the sound of your own snoring.
