Roger Waters: The Wall (2015)

The Wall. It is one of my favorite albums of all time. It was the album that got me into Pink Floyd. It was one of the first shows I saw live.

When Roger did the tour, I prayed that he would make a movie and album, and 2/3 years later, we got it. The movie was very good and I highly recommend it.

The album is just as good. This album is the whole concert and it brings me back to when I saw him live.

I'm not reviewing "The Wall." I'm reviewing Roger Waters "The Wall." Some of the opinions don't go for the original album.

1. Now I love Rogers voice. He has that weak, yet loud voice. His voice can tremble and then yell loud! The only problem is that you don't hear too much of Roger. There are songs that he does really well, but at some moments, someone else sings. Also, Roger's voice does fall a little short in some places, but I can excuse that as Roger is old.

2. The background music is FANTASTIC. The backing band is truly outstanding. Hopefully Roger does another tour and CD so I can hear this band.

3. The sound effects are spot on. Certain songs contain the crowd chanting and it is so cool. Also, the plane in the song "In The Flesh?" sounds cool. Everything is noticeable.

8/10. It is one of the best live albums I've heard!

(Sorry I've been off the forums for a while. I've been recording and doing other things.)

I didn't really like the movie. It was good, but it seemed to be a little more focused on mixing adult vulgarity with an unpleasant psychedelia. Plus, I'll never forgive it for leaving off Hey You.

I was talking about the Roger Waters film... But yeah, the Pink Floyd movie is exactly what you described!

I guess I'm better at describing things than I thought. Thanks.

I just hold The Wall very close to my heart. First Pink Floyd album, but it's not my favorite. Favorite has to be Atom Heart Mother
