Yeah this album is alright.... I gave it a few more listens. I'll come back in a while but right now its a pretty mellow listen. Dig some of the guest spots though...

Gorillaz albums have become less "Gorillaz featuring some people" and more and more "Bunch of people featuring Gorillaz". PLastic Beach grew on me though so we'll see. I'm going to give it a good listen tomorrow on my way to SF.

This record is pretty meh. They recorded that ****ty album on there ipad and this has a little bit better production. Kinda dissapointed they took this much time making this record, but it's ****tier than Plastic Beach, but better than the fall. Doesn't matter if these losers have Danny Brown on a track rapping about stupid ****. Your album isn't that great!

Continuing on with my first listen and previous thoughts still apply. Haven't heard a song that I've really hated or disliked. The album seems to flow really nicely, which is a nice surprise.

Ok, so I'm done with my first listen just about. I have to say, this album is extremely nice. It's a solid Gorillaz album, but it has more going for it as well. I didn't hate any tracks, some I did skip but then went back to them. I'd say this album is just a smidge over the line that crosses between Good and Great. It's not the best album they've made, but there's certainly very little if any bad things to say about it. Surprisingly pleased with this.

Ringing the great bell out there, above us, sounds pretty important.
