Talking E.L.O.- Out of the Blue (1977)

Out of the Blue contains many of Electric Light Orchestra's classics, such as Turn to Stone, Sweet Talkin' Woman and Mr. Blue Sky. And it isn't just those classics that make it good, the album is riddled with other good songs, too. To me, this is their best album.
While Mr. Blue Sky at this point is probably the album's most famous track (thanks to Guardians of the Galaxy), Turn to Stone is my favorite. The song is just so catchy! This album is a very good one, 86/100.

Among other assorted albums like Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Jan and Dean Meet Batman and Robin, and a plethora of K-Tel mixed track presses, Out of the Blue was one of my go-to's after I got home from school as a latchkey kid in the late 70's.

It was my senior year in high school (1977) and we pilled into a car after an all night bowling event on our way to play basketball (why not?) with this album being played on the cassette player. Great memories start with great albums.
