Lightbulb Deliver, the mamas & papas

Dedicated to the one I love, beautiful
Creeque alley, band of gypsies vibes
Sing for your supper & look through my window, enchanting
Did you ever want to cry, relevant
Boys and girls together, sexy
String man, beautifully tragic
John’s music box, angel dance
The covers are good especially my girl
Free advice another gypsy band song

All in all, an album everyone should know; especially a staple for every girl, just like the stones’ “between the buttons”🦋

^ Welcome to MB, Gypsy Flower

To be honest, in his abrupt way Zhanteimi makes a point. Anyone who clicks on an "album review" link is probably expecting more than just a one word comment per song.

I don't know Deliver but I see it's got some of the classic M&P songs, including my favourite, Creeque Alley. What they do with Twist and Shout is impressive too. I love how they slow it down so much that they bring a hint of parody to the lyrics, telling us to "shake it up baby now, work it on out" - but in slow motion!

I also dipped into a track I'd never heard before, John's Music Box, but I can't really agree with your opinion, Gypsy Flower. For me it was too much like a music box - inconsequential and mildly irritating - but then it's an instrumental track and so hardly plays to M&P's strengths as a group, their exquisite vocal harmonies.
