Lack of usage?
 

i noticed while posting in EVERY forum so my name would OWN the homepage, that it wasn't even a challenge, because no one uses this site very often.

Yeah, but the people that do use are actually very deeply into what the content is. I'd rather have that then 10 000 members who just bicker and spam and flood. Not to say that doesnt go on here..

This forum is still young anyways.

yea i love this site because i can miss a day and still come back and read everything everyone has posted and reply in an hour or so. many of the other forums i visit i come back to readin many like hundreds of pointless posts that i waste my time reading. most of everything here has a point and is very entertaining.

Yes, there is plenty to agee about, but Mike has a point (although he didn't really stress it well).

It may not be apparant to you, but the relatively slow activity around here is not a good thing - new members may get bored and leave. And I don't know about you, but I like threads to be bordering on active conversation. Here it's almost like `leave a note and someone will get back to you`.

OK I agree with you that no forum should move SO fast that it's hard to keep up, but it would be nice if I could get a reply some time this century - I nearly always go on the 'net because I'm bored (yeah yeah ok and to get off to porn). :p:

That's not my fault though. I want someone to talk to - I don't really care who it is, I'm not asking you guys to be here more often. I'm saying we need more members.

i hate havin more members cuz then we will start gettin forum whores...if u want a forum with a lot of members go to www.midnitechallenge.com and go to the forums

I like the members that we have already. I don't want the board full of morons who have nothing say. I've seen so many of them on other boards, I don't want them here. If you want someone to talk to, you can always go to a chat room. :usehead:

What we want is for the board to just pick up a little. Be that tiny bit more active. Not much more, just a few more members online would be nice. We're not planning on filling your precious forums with mindless morons, don't worry.

Sharky, you didn't read that guys post you replied to. He said he likes the boards now because it is NOT a board full of morons. I agree, I'd rather speak to people who know their music and can actually have intelligence when speaking. Most of the time you can find that here. If you want more activity on the boards, suggest the site to your friends, etc. These boards are new, running since the latter part of last year. So be patient.

OK first of all, calm down. It's over.

Second, I never said that I wanted tons of morons on the boards. I never said anyone did - so it's a totally irrellivent point, don't bring it up please.

Third, I am suggesting the board to friends. I've suggested it to at least 5 other people now, and I'll continue to suggest it. I'm like you, in that I don't want tons of members causing flooding - just a tad more activity to liven this place up a little would be nice. It would just let us do more stuff if we had a bigger regular user base.
