Suggestions on how to fight Spam (members, quote, Lute, Computer)

o low blow o man owwy...lol shut up ahah...then i will =] but i don't "spam" if you call those spam then you have a very wacked out version of spam...spam is advertising stuff so off topic your liek where the hell did that come from for example:topic is cars
spam:come to here for music

ect ect ect

Needless to say, it was closed. Although it may not officially constitute as spam here, I think when a user posts a lot of unwanted posts, they qualify as spam even when they have no links in them. Posts without content are just useless bits of text that you have to sift through when you're trying to read the real posts in a thread.

The most ironic thing about this thread is that has turned into spam! I reiterate- the admin are working on something to iron out spam. believe you me the mods are utterly fecked off with the amount of spam on this site and if we left ALL the spam untouched for just a week you would soon see how much we have to get through.

It hasn't quite turned out as I wanted and I'm part to blame for that and I'm sorry. If you want to lock it up or clean it up (delete all the silly posts), then I would be happy.

In other news, consider the point that trolls and spam mean we have a free forum with access. You can't restrict one thing and not others.

If you were new, would you stay on a board with these restrictions?
