New Posts lags?

I noticed when I post or create a thread, it doesn't show up consistently in the "New Posts" section.

Every other forum I'm a part of works instantaneously...

Is this normal?

New posts and subscribed threads in User CP only show threads containing unread posts. In other words, if you create a new thread, it won't show up there or in your User CP until after someone else has added a new post to it.

The new posts button doesnt show up your new posts, only other peoples!

^ Noo, it shows up yoursif you haven't seen a post in it yet.
Like if someone posts in the Music Club and I haven't opened it yet, it'll show up in New Posts.

yeah but if you post in it then click new posts it doesnt come up, some forums ive used your posts count as a new post and youll come up as last poster even though you have obviously seen it!
