Polls

I'm not sure what the answer was if we'd asked it before, but can we make it so that threads don't get bumped on poll votes alone?

If I go in and read Stu's review of Icky Thump one more time because some one-and-done newb clicked "like" I'm going to lose my god damn mind.

Very much agreed.

Freebase Dali 05-02-2010 12:57 PM

I agree as well.
I'll bring it up in the mod area so that Yac can address it when he logs on.

Seltzer 05-02-2010 03:13 PM

It might pay to remind him about this too. ;)

Hey senior mods, I have a question/suggestion I wanted to run by you guys and I wanted to know if it has been looked at or not, or if it is possible.

Regarding thread anchors, I personally love the anchor system used when clicking on the 'last post' when viewing the main forum, as it brings you right to the point where new replies have been made that you haven't seen.
Would it be possible for this to be a default behavior for other threads when viewing in forums and clicking the thread title?
It would make things a lot easier than having to click on the 'last page' link and navigating back through who knows how many pages to find the point you left off at.

I know this is NOT something that can be done in the mod panel, at least I'm fairly sure, but it should be something the Admin can set up. In any case, if this has already been looked at then that's that.

Thanks

Haha... I guess that fell through the cracks. I'd forgotten about it myself, even. I'll make a reference to that in my post.

It has been submitted again, along with the latest requests. It was ignored last time I submitted requests to Yac, but I'll just keep requesting it until they get so annoyed that they oblige.
