In regards to this, self-promotion is also considered advertising, per the rules, and it is welcomed from established members, but disallowed by new members. This is to prevent people from joining merely to spam us and leave.

I can appreciate that. I guess it just seemed "big brotherish" to me. I should point out that I did vote that I have a problem with authority in the "do you have a problem with authority?" thread. lol

Anyway, as previously posted, I see some pretty cool, insightful, passionate people/posts on this board so, assuming I don't get banned for some reason, I plan to stick around and contribute.

thank you..hehe
but kidding aside, for you not to get yourself in trouble when you want to promote yourself or something in terms of music, we actually have a thread here, forgot the title, where you can post your videos of you doing some music stuff like singing, playing instruments, etc.
