Well obviously he knows the higher-ups and was chosen prior to even posting here. We can't assume to know their reasons for choosing him. Maybe his personality is exactly what they wanted. Or maybe it doesn't even matter.

May I ask then why is some closet associate of yours or the owners of this site given precedence in leading something he knows very little to nothing about, when for the past 8 years we have been led pretty much by a committee of respected and familiar mods who got there by merit... If this was premeditated then why weren't members made aware that he wasn't just some bumbling idiot that represents himself through asinine and ignorant communiques with respected contributors? Also, is he here to aid us with his "expertise" or is he here to learn on the fly? Some continuity would be nice, but seeing as this was an executive decision I don't really see that happening anytime soon.
