I've gone back to page 25 where there was a two month gap in posting in that thread and the only deleted posts was a mod deleting their own post and deleted posts by spammers.

It's not only one mod, either. But some mods will admit it and give a reason.
I want to know why my post was deleted.
And why many of my posts lately have been deleted.

They should just PM you and explain the reasoning but this is just cowardly and pathetic.

It could have been deleted with the "permanent deletion" option. Which curiously conceals who did the deleting from other moderators.

It was one of the last posts in the thread, unfortunately, Pete.
Thanks for looking, but the post was definitely deleted.

I do appreciate your help.

And obv Meg's cause ily

Oh really? I've never heard of such a thing! Is this also possible with shoutbox posts?

Shoutbox deletions never show who did the work, regardless.

Interesting, because several of mine ~magically disappeared when there was no reason for deleting them

CrazyVegn 07-05-2013 05:54 PM

Why was my thread locked?

I'm going to wager that it's because it's a potential major source of unnecessary forum drama. It may be amusing to you, but it has a vast potential to prolong certain disagreements between members.

EDIT: Oh, the other thread of yours that has been locked. Whoops.

Arya Stark 07-05-2013 05:56 PM

Probably because the conversation got off-topic.
That actually makes sense.

At least the posts weren't deleted.
