I didn't realize that moderator suggestions thread was being taken seriously. I stopped reading it before it finished, because it seemed mostly joking and no reason was (and still hasn't been) given why a new moderator would be chosen.

Anyway, on the British thing, that's a good thing - the site is international, and moderators should reflect that.

Because we've lost a couple of mods recently. I would have thought that it would be pretty obvious.

No. I still don't know where to find a list of current moderators. Only this month did I notice that duga is a moderator (maybe that's a new username for a long-time member?) and that Pedestrian isn't a mod (I think she's a she and was a moderator before).

I'm fine with doing nominations threads, but next time it would go better with an "Official" title and a moderator making it. Announcing it across the site also would help.

Go to the bottom of the home page and you'll see a link above the shoutbox that says "View Forum Leaders". Click on it.

Let the man enjoy his being added to the mod list. You're ruining every thread you go into.

I believe Duga has been a mod the entire time you've been a member, or at least close to it. I suggest you take a little time to familiarize yourself with this site before you continue to engage in any more critiques of it.
