How to start a Group
Self exploratory, help please! I assure you it will be a great group!
|
Um. Not self-explanatory. Do you mean a club here, a group of friends, a band?
If either of the first two, I'd suggest posting a thread in the relevant forum or subforum and see who responds. Depends on what the "group" is going to be based around. More info perhaps? Edit: Sorry I misread. I see you said self-exploratory, not explanatory. Now I'm really confused... |

Because of the way the forum skin is you can't see how to create groups because it's black writing on a black background.
If you go to the Social Groups page on your profile and highlight the black area under the existing groups shown you'll see an option to start a new group http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l9...nH/group-1.jpg |

Well played, but my point is this kinda thing should be illustrated so that ppl can see it without someone having to make thread about it. |
I don't disagree. I only found out how to create my "Ouchie Finger Club" by searching through the forum for a solution.
|
All this time, I thought it was a mod privilege.
|
Alright, another question... how do you start a 'discussion' once you have begun a group? I highlighted the whole page this time, nothing hidden.
|
Click on the group and highlight the area at the bottom under where it says 'Social Group Discussions'
You'll find a link with 'Post New Discussion' there |
Guess I didn't play seek well enough... haha. Thanks dude.

Hopefully now that we're all aware of the easter egg here on musicbanter, more groups will crop up for all sorts of things. |
