No one, no matter how hard they try to justify it

I considered both Bloozcrooz and Silenzio as good friends, as close as you can get online. I really miss them both. I was friendly with Canwll, but only talked to him few times.

GB had the personality of an old school marm, and I miss him browbeating me on insignificant matters. He always gave me flashbacks of being yelled at in grade school.

I miss Conan, it's so terrible how he had to quit MB. He's been forced to live a life he hates. :(

What happened?

I'm not sure if I'm meant to say this but basically his parents/family are very religious and expected him to be religious too. He considered himself a non believer and tried to live his life away from their control. He posted on here in secret but somehow his family found out he posted here and saw that he was saying inappropriate things. He ended up liking a girl he knew who was also religious and after his family found him on MB he was basically forced to ban his account and change the username so they couldn't carry on reading what he was saying (he talked on here about disliking religion). He also loved the girl and wanted to please her by conforming. Janszoon did I get this right? This is what I remember anyway.

Yeah, his family are Jehovah's Witnesses, and interacting with people outside their religion is generally frowned upon. If he'd left the faith, pretty much his family would have cut off contact with him, as that's the policy of the church toward apostates.

Man, poor kid. That really sucks. Hopefully he's on his way to independence and can get away from that kind of ****.

The sad fact is he probably won't. Maybe when he gets older. Religion can **** up peoples lives.
