Dirty was just a likeably crude cretin, whereas JWB was great at getting a rise out of people while being witty at the same time.

i probably wasn’t reading the forum too much when jwb was at his best. i thought he was entertaining from what i remember, at least. post-ban, though, continuously making new accounts to jump into debates on here is a commitment that i think is kind of weird. i’ll assume that’s not too much of an effort on his part.

i joined when dirty was already established as “216 aka butthead”, so maybe i missed a lot of important origin material there. the whole unveil just seemed kind of lackluster to me. if i’m remembering it correctly, a lot of people already assumed they were the same person; all of the effort he put into crafting that new persona (?) that was basically just a change in the way he typed didn’t really seem to have an impactful result
