I know, probably. I still feel it's important to post regardless. Though why that bump is feeling dumb in retrospect. **** I'm tired.

btw @[MERIT]'s email: saying that I talked about 'equating homosexuality with necrophilia' is losing the nuance a bit. By bringing necrophilia into an argument about homosexuality one sort of implies a comparison between the two (comparing, not necessarily equating) which I think is in bad taste

I also pointed out how grindy chooses to take any mention of homosexuality by me and twist it into a negative slight against him, simply because he is a cross-dresser, which has been evidenced by him posting images of himself wearing makeup, fake breasts and womens clothes.
This part alone shows how full of **** he is.
Someone posted a pic of some politician in blackface and drag recently. Merit made a joke that it's me.
Now, just a few days later, I supposedly posted crossdressing pics. I always knew that he lives in his little dream world but this is next level delusional.

Windsock, you know your posts are going to be removed, right?

That would not put the mods in a positive light imo

He's sharing information that isn't in itself harmful, but rather lets anyone form their own opinion on the matter.

Whether one agrees or disagrees with Windsock or with Merit's version of events should be immaterial.

For the record: I think the mods are both too lenient on certain posters when tempers flare, and maybe overdid it on Merit a bit, even though a ban was warranted imo. Six months? Well... I don't know about that. He holds some problematic views, but it seems people are unable to argue with them and instead just throw **** at him. But that's MB arguments for you. He's wrong. He's over the line. But he didn't wave a gun around and certain other posters are not getting nearly the ban hammer action they deserve, so it's clearly ideologically skewed. I say this as a full blast commie.

+1

Btw, I saw all of the now removed posts and they weren't bad for the most part. The only comment that I'd consider ehhhhh was when he was saying he didn't care what someone's sexual preferences were but didn't like the parading it around and mentioned necrophiliacs. So it wasn't the sentiment that's the problem, but just the mentioning of something actually disgusting like that was awkward and I can understand why some homosexuals would take offense to that. I think it would've gone over better had he just mentioned polygamists.

and before you call me a shill, I don't even agree with his views on pride parades. I don't have a problem as long as people are having fun and aren't hurting anyone.

Banning him for six months is basically saying that his non-violent words are equivalent to someone threatening another person with a gun (Because that's what Chula did right, and got the six month ban).

grindy 02-06-2019 03:10 AM

Chula wasn't banned for threatening someone with a gun. Why does everyone keep saying that?
And merit wasn't banned for homophobia.
He has a history of saying terrible **** about Jews and gays and other minority groups. And unlike some of the other stuff people say here, he meant it.
When he was reprimanded for a somewhat homophobic remark, he reacted by not only doubling down, but by attacking me in a distinctly antisemitic way.

Marie Monday 02-06-2019 03:18 AM

^ yep. To me the problem lay in how he reacted towards grindy. I didn't like his remarks on pride parades, but I wasn't personally offended by them at all
I do agree with what Nea said about the son thing

Oriphiel 02-06-2019 03:18 AM

The worst part of this whole thing is finding out that grindy isn't a crossdresser.

Marie Monday 02-06-2019 03:22 AM

Ikr

MicShazam 02-06-2019 03:23 AM

Well, whatever Chula did. Refer to a gun or insinuate he was gonna kill OH or whatever. My memory is hazy.

Everyone should get treated equally, is the main thing.
