Well whoopty-****ing doo. I was never close minded about the music itself and whether or not I "mislabled" the genre really doesn't mean ****.
I have some of those bands already and I never for a second thought they were emo or screamo or whatever. To me it was just good music.

I have nothing against any style of music, I just have something against tight jeans and girlish hoodies.
